Servcorp, a global giant, has over 150+ locations around the world and 21 locations across every capital city and territory in Australia, with service and customer experience, a key focus to its members.

In 1976, the entrepreneurial Mr. Alf Moufarrige was preparing to launch a new venture. He needed an office space, a receptionist, and secretarial support. However, he soon realized that these costs were cutting into his profits and that the team and space were not being utilized fully. To reduce his overheads, he decided to share these resources.

In 1978, from a corner office in the MLC Centre Sydney Australia, Mr. Alf Moufarrige took a piece of chalk to divide up the space—and Servcorp was born! The idea quickly gained traction and evolved organically. Within just 12 months, two full floors within the MLC Centre were occupied, along with one location in Melbourne.

Growth continued steadily, with Servcorp pioneering the Virtual Office concept in 1980 and expanding into other countries. It was publicly listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (SRV) in 1999.

Today, the entrepreneurial spirit and passion of Mr. Alf Moufarrige have propelled Servcorp to offer Serviced Offices, Virtual Offices, Coworking, and IT Solutions in 150 locations across 41 cities throughout 20 countries. In the 2015 financial year, ten new floors were opened, and six floors were expanded, marking historically the biggest year for office expansion for Servcorp, with a net of 645 offices being added. A further six floors opened globally in the 2016 financial year, including CapitaGreen in Singapore, World Trade Center in Abu Dhabi, and the Ilham Tower in Kuala Lumpur.

The greatly anticipated Barangaroo precinct within Sydney’s CBD opened in late 2016. Servcorp boasts panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour and beyond high up on Level 35 of International Tower 1 within this prestigious new development.

The US is a key market in which it will continue to invest time and effort in educating about their premium offering, with One World Trade Centre and its premium Coworking space proving to be very popular. Servcorp will continue to look for premium opportunities across the 20 countries in which they operate.
